CFB Risk Management is an internationally renowned risk management company, providing high quality bespoke asset protection services to high hazard industrial sites across the world, protecting their people, environment, plant, assets and reputation and is now looking for applicants for multiple Site Protection Manager and Officer roles to be based in and around the Teesside area to manage and provide effective emergency response capabilities, including fire, rescue and medical prevention and protection arrangements and security capabilities, in line with the requirements of legislation and company standards.

Site Protection Manager

• Work within Organisations guidelines and procedures.
• Undertake a management role in all specified duties in regard to service delivery.
• Lead the team to undertake the rescue of site personnel, to a place of safety and administer first aid commensurate with your skills and knowledge.
• Lead the team to undertake the Medial Response to site personnel commensurate to your skills and knowledge.
• Lead the team to undertake Security Services including (but not limited to) access control management, site patrols, CCTV monitoring, vehicle & personal searches, drug and alcohol testing.
• Liaison with site personnel and other emergency services as required.
• Liaise with key agencies during incidents.
• Maintenance of skills and competence commensurate with your role and record as necessary.
• Take a lead and develop others in the review of ‘risk assessments’ where necessary.
• Lead the team in daily ‘pre work’ briefings as directed.
• Lead the team to inspect and maintain PPE applicable to the role and maintain appropriate inspection records.
• Lead the team in the delivery of training and development of site staff as directed.
• Undertake any other activities as directed by the Operations Manager.
• Monitor and manage the testing and recording of equipment and resources to maintain operational readiness.
• Maintain/report faults in line with Organisations equipment maintenance plan.
• Monitor, manage and respond site alarm systems in line with local requirements.
• Support and promote equality and diversity, respect and dignity for all staff in line with company policy.
• Manage and monitor the health and safety of self and others whilst at work.
• Effectively manage all established recording systems.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE • Experience of working at supervisory level managing a team of people within an industrial type environment
• Knowledge or experience of providing emergency response in an industrial environment covering:
• Fire Fighting within an industrial environment
• Medical Response in line with First Aid at Work
• Providing security service under valid SIA licences
• Emergency response within confined spaces
• Emergency response to ‘working at height’ scenarios
• Experience of carrying out Risk Assessments
• Knowledge and experience of working with the criteria involved in Dynamic Risk Assessment.
• Experience or knowledge of carrying out Rescue Plans
• Experience of working in the mining industry
• Experience of developing staff
• Knowledge or experience of providing Trauma
Life Support in line with BTLS/ITLS or Pre Hospital Trauma Management protocols
• Knowledge or experience of rope/line rescue techniques
• Knowledge or experience of critical equipment inspection, testing and maintenance regimes.
