Case Study Huntsman

We were recently awarded a multi-million pound Integrated Security and Technical Rescue and HAZMAT contract with Huntsman Tioxide. All aspects of the project needed to be carefully planned and managed with the safety of all parties considered paramount. Minimisation of disruption and efficient liaison with key stakeholders were a high priority.

Huntsman Tioxide manufactures and sells titanium dioxide pigments used in the production of paints, plastics, paper, printing inks, fibres and ceramics.

The five-year contract will ensure protection for personnel and assets at a site where more than 400 people are employed by a company that operates world-wide and is renowned for its scientific and technical innovation and quality products.

“We are delighted to have won this contract in the face of some strong competition. We are already working with a large number of high-hazard companies on Teesside including Ineos Nitriles and Royal Vopak and are pleased to have this latest vote of confidence in our expertise.”
